“All the secrets of the world are contained in books. Read at your own risk.” ― Lemony Snicket

cko2Shhh. Don’t tell anyone, but being a school librarian (who knows what a “media specialist” does anyway?) is the best job in the world. I spend my days teaching kids, talking about books, and helping teachers. And I get to play on the computer.

So far, I’ve worked in school libraries, public libraries, and university libraries. My favorite is right where I am now: an elementary school I can walk to and that my own kids attend.

Sometimes, I blog about the books I like and what we’re up to in the library. You can find links to that in the sidebars.
