Wisconsin State Reading Association Conference Presentation: “Putting Pen to Paper, Becoming the Writer You Want Your Students to Be”

wsra convention 2016

The past few days, I’ve been at the Wisconsin State Reading Association conference, soaking up all things literacy-related as teacher/librarian-me.

However, author-me was also there, presenting on Friday as part of the “Building Writers” institute. My talk was about teachers creating the time and space and routines to write regularly–for the benefit of both themselves and their students.

>> Here are the resources I mentioned.

If you attended the session and would like a link to the slideshow, too, please e-mail me, and I’ll send it your way.

p.s. BOTH teacher/librarian-me and author-me were super-excited to get to sign books with Sharon Draper and hang out with the fine folks of SCBWI-WI.
