I read this over a couple of lunch hours last week. (Please note: “lunch hour” is a figure of speech. My lunches are anywhere from 0-20 minutes long–I am not that slow of a reader! :-))
Anyway, it’s a fascinating account of how the very adorable golden frogs of Central America are disappearing. I loved how Markle framed the story as a mystery–and also as a step-by-step example of the scientific process. A process that is ongoing as they try to figure out how to save these little creatures.
Combine this with an article that I just read on zoos of the future and I had lots to think about!
